Terms and Condition
We are a singing school committed to helping you unlock your potential as a vocalist. We believe everyone can learn to sing. We have an amazing team and provide a safe environment for your singing journey. We train all levels and ages, from beginning to professional and kids to adults. We offer private classes and small group classes.
Performances and events
We offer many performances and events throughout the year. We have two yearly concerts (in Terms 2 and 4), and we offer Lounge Sessions in Terms 1 and 3. We also provide students with the opportunity to create music videos and join our annual album recording.
Every lesson is recorded in our online system. You will receive the teacher’s notes via email about once a month, along with your progress and what you have been working on together.
Our studio is equipped with microphones, sound systems and pianos to ensure that you get the most out of your lessons. At the end of your first lesson, you will receive an email with links to our online resource, which will equip you to continue your learning at home as well as in class.
Attendance and rescheduling
Once you’ve enrolled, your lesson time will be reserved as a regular session in our system unless you have notified us otherwise. We are unable to issue refunds on missed lessons but are able to offer a catchup in group classes providing there is a spot available and no less than 24 hours notice is provided in writing. Please also note that catchup lessons are not accumulated. Please note that enrolment is per term or your package and automatically rolled over to the following term unless 2 weeks notice is provided in writing for cessation. Students are unable to cease tuition mid-Term or Package or will attract an exit fee.
Tuition fees and payment
Please refer to our payment packages attached to
your initial enrolment letter or in MMS. Please note
that in the 3 month package there is no pause,
6 month package is 2 weeks and the 12 month package 4 weeks – we require 2 weeks notice for your pause and your request in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer the following options for payment: Term Payment upfront or Automated Ezidebit. After your first lesson, all payments are processed two weeks ahead. Automated payments are taken out on Mondays a week ahead and any direct deposit arrangements must be in our bank a week prior to the lesson.
All our teachers are trained with specific skills and are allocated to students based on student goals, age and needs. If a teacher is sick or away, another teacher may fill in as a substitute.
Lessons do not on run on public holidays or school holidays. If you miss a lesson on a public holiday you can organize a group catchup for missed lessons or book a catchup with your teacher, please contact the office to book. We observe the following public holidays: Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Labour Day.
If you wish to discontinue your singing lessons, please provide two weeks’ written notice. If you are in the middle of a 3, 6 or 12 month program there will be an exit fee. You can email email@example.com with your intention to stop. If there is less than two weeks’ notice given, fees will be withdrawn during this period. Students cannot withdraw mid-term but must wait until the end of term or will be required to pay an exit fee.
By enrolling in Unlock Your Voice, I declare that I have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. I accept the liability for payment of all fees described in this form. I agree that payment must be made to secure my lesson time.
