ABOUT US

We are a singing school committed to helping you unlock your potential as a singer. We believe everyone can learn to sing and enjoy their voice. We have an amazing team and provide a safe environment for your singing journey. We train all levels and ages, from beginners to professionals and kids to adults. We offer group classes, 8-week Fast-Track programs, choirs, and private classes.

 

PERFORMANCES AND EVENTS

We offer many opportunities for performances and events throughout the year. We have Open-Mics every month and we have two yearly concerts (in Terms 2 and 4), and we offer lounge Sessions in Terms 1 and 3. We also provide students with the opportunity to create music videos and join our regular album recording. 

 

LESSON NOTES

Every lesson notes are recorded in our online system. You will receive the teacher’s notes via email regularly, along with your progress and what you have been working on together.

 

RESOURCES

Our studio is equipped with microphones, sound systems, and pianos to ensure that you get the most out of your lessons. At the end of your first lesson, you will receive an email with links to our online resource, which will equip you to continue your learning at home as well as in class.

 

ATTENDANCE & RESCHEDULING

Once you’ve enrolled, your lesson time will be reserved as a regular session in our system unless you have notified us otherwise. We are unable to issue refunds on
missed lessons but are able to offer a catchup in group classes providing there is a spot available and no less than 24 hours notice is provided in writing. Please also note that catchup lessons are not accumulated. Please note that enrolment is per term or your package and automatically rolled over to the following term unless 2 weeks’ notice is provided in writing for cessation. Students are unable to cease tuition mid-Term or package.

 

TUITION FEES AND PAYMENT

Please refer to our payment packages attached to your initial enrolment letter or in our UYV Platform. Please note that in the 3-month package, there is no pause, 6-month package is 2 weeks, and the 12-month package 4 weeks cumulatively – we require 2 weeks’ notice for your pause and your request in writing to myvocalcoach@unlockyourvoice.net

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We offer the following options for payment: Term Payment upfront or Automated Direct Debit. After your first lesson, all payments are processed a week ahead. Automated payments are taken out on a weekly basis. Any extra lessons or products you book/purchase will be added to your account and debited at the next payment cycle.

 

TEACHERS

All our teachers are trained with specific skills and are allocated to students based on student goals, age, and needs. If a teacher is sick or away, another teacher may fill in as a substitute.

 

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

We are not open on public holidays. If your lesson falls on a public holiday you can organise a catchup with your teacher. We observe the following public holidays: Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday, and Labour Day.

WITHDRAWAL

If you wish to discontinue your singing lessons, please provide two weeks’ written notice. You can email myvocalcoach@unlockyourvoice.net with your intention to stop. If there is less than two weeks’ notice given, fees will be withdrawn during this period. Students cannot withdraw mid-program and an exit fee will be applied for early cancellation.

 

DECLARATION

By enrolling in Unlock Your Voice, I declare that I have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. I accept the liability for payment of all fees described in this form. I agree that payment must be made to secure my lesson time.
